We will break up for the Christmas holiday on 19th December 2007. School re-starts on 3rd January 2008.

Curriculum Enrichment Groups

Learning Support Worker (LSW) Ms Jayne Wooley successfully piloted the project and regular sessions were subsequently established in Key Stages 2, 3 & 4.

Following their success, we have set up Curriculum Enrichment sessions across the Key Stages to enable children with Autistic behaviours to be more involved in a range of 'sensory' based activities.

Certain children have been selected to participate in these sessions which run during the mornings.

They take place in various locations across the school, including the art room, music room, gym / soft play rooms, multi-sensory rooms and the Food Technology room.

LSW's Ms Sam Brain and Ms Marie Hill operate the Early Years and Key Stage 1 groups while LSW Ms Cathy Anwyll now operates sessions in Key Stages 2, 3 & 4.
