We will break up for the Christmas holiday on 19th December 2007. School re-starts on 3rd January 2008.

Rotary Club Balloon Launch

Here we see some of the gentlemen from the Rotary Club of Gloucester blowing up the Imperial Cancer Research balloons ready for the launch.
Some of the pupils released their own balloons.
Some of the balloons were released together.
The balloons float away on the breeze - thanks to Mr Robberts for capturing this photo.
Ms Shea and some of the pupils look up to see where the balloons have flown away to.
The Rotary Club is a worldwide registered charity (No. 274097) and their members give their time and energy voluntarily. For this project, they are being supported by the Chelsea Building Society who are paying all the expenses and Cheltenham and Gloucester plc who started the fund rolling with a cheque for £500. The Citize, and Radio Gloucester have been covering the events and this has enabled every £1 collected to go to the Institute of Cancer Research.
