The Sensory Garden

The Sensory Garden was created as a special project by staff and pupils from 4W and the school S.U.L.P group.
With the help of many local companies and individuals, the sensory garden project became a special fund raising challenge in association with BBC Radio Gloucester.
The garden is used as a quiet place for contemplation and for pupils to relax in the calming sensory environment. In fine weather, classes can use the B-B-Q equipment to prepare meals as part of Life Skills and Food Technology lessons.
The garden is maintained by staff and pupils during the regular lunchtime Gardening Club.
